Scent overmarking: mechanisms and functions

I am interested in animal behavior and the mechanisms of behavior in a naturalistic, or evolutionary context. We study social behavior (scent marking, aggression, sexual behavior, individual recognition, kin recognition) and try to understand why animals do the things they do. A brief overview of several ongoing projects is given, along with a few recent publications for each topic.
