James Cutting is a Professor of Psychology in the Department
of Psychology at Cornell University.
Professor Cutting's interests lie in art and psychology; the perception
of motion, depth, and layout; event perception; and structural and functional
analyses of perceptual stimuli.
Professor Cutting received his Ph.D. from Yale University and is recent past editor of Psychological Science. The new editor is Rob Kail at Purdue.
